Over the years, I have literally absorbed the story and performances from both, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman whom deliver outstanding performances in season 1-2-3. I have no doubt they will do the same in season 4.
Now, let's talk about Sherlock's nemesis one Mr. Dr. Moriarty. He's played by Andrew Scott and he is the perfect villain for this series reboot. I mean he's...he's just a bad ass.
The rest of the cast is superb and really completes the ensemble.
I put this series right up there with Mr. Robot when it comes to just...absorbing the aura of what you are seeing on the screen.
I highly recommended you watch the entire series (if you have not seen any of the previous versions in this series reboot) as the story is continual. Basically, you might not get what they are referring to if you just jump into a later season.
Also, all of the episodes are basically movies. No one hour episode then wait until the following week to see what happens. The story is the story for the entire episode. Now, some of the story line (as I state above) is continual (call it an underlying story) but just like reading a Sherlock book you get the entire story in one episode.
Brilliant! I am truly looking forward to season 4.
You can watch the series on PBS, or grab it on Amazon, iTunes store, Google, etc. I buy them. I love to watch them again from time to time.
